As a livery owner you are required to have read, understood and agreed to the rules of the stables. You will provide a contact number, postal address and email address.
Livery owners are given access to the stables, tack room and feed room using several security codes and a key (1 key per horse). You are required to keep this information confidential, you may share this information with your sharer and any person charged with the responsibility of looking after your horse. Do not pass this information onto your guests or any third parties not directly connected with the stables without our permission and or knowledge.
Livery owners and sharers are welcome to bring their dogs up to the stables, but must be kept on a lead while in the stable area. Guests are not. The dog owner must clean up any mess left by their dog. Dogs are not allowed in the barns. Dogs are allowed on the fields, but again any mess must be cleared by the owner of the dog. Dogs must not be walked in fields where livestock (Horses or Sheep) are grazing.
All Children are welcome up at the stables. However please note that as a livery owner you are responsible and held accountable for your own children, any sharers children and the children of any guests you invite into the yard.
The stables is not by definition a child friendly or safe environment, we cannot take responsibility for the safety of children while on site. Children may not climb on, play with or use any of the farm / stables machinery or equipment (unless supervised by an adult). Any child found braking these rules will be banned from the stables with immediate effect and without compromise.
As a Livery owner it is your duty to make sure all children, your own, your sharers or guests children and their parents are made aware of the above. If a parent is not happy to accept the above terms the child may not enter the property.
It is the responsibility of the livery owner to make sure their sharer knows how to look after and use any tools, equipment and facilities provided by the stables and to have read, understood and agreed to the rules of the stables. Sharers must provide a contact number, postal address and email address. A key will be issued by the management which must be returned should the sharers agreement be terminated. If the sharer fails for what ever reason to return the key, the sharers horse owner will be responsible for covering the full cost of a lock replacement and the issue of all new keys.
It is the responsibility of the livery owner or sharer to make sure their guest is aware the stables is not a safe environment and that the safety of the guest is the responsibility of the livery owner or sharer. Sharers are welcome to bring main family members to the stables, but only one guest at a time. This limitation is intended to make sure the livery owners in general can enjoy their horse in what is a small private livery yard environment.
Three Cornered Shaw stables will not be held responsible for loss or damage to your property while left at the stables.
Three Cornered Shaw Stables will make every effort to maintain the fencing and boundaries safe and secure for your horse. However the livery owner, sharer or livery owners agent must satisfy themselves of this before turning out. If the fencing is not suitable in terms of security or safety do not turn your horse out. Please contact us immediately. In the interest of yours and others safety we recommend only one horse at a time should be lead to and from the field.
